Ownership

Unless otherwise noted, original text, editorial compilations, data compilations, graphics, generated imagery, design, branding and software on this site are owned by or licensed to Nicholas and Miriam Peters. The Indian Trail, North Carolina artwork used as the site logo is used by the publisher as its brand mark.

Permitted use

You may view, print or save individual pages for personal, noncommercial research, provided you keep all notices intact. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page.

Prohibited use

Without written permission you may not copy, republish, resell, scrape, bulk-download, frame, mirror, create datasets from, or automatically extract site content, or remove copyright or attribution notices.

Fair use and press

Third-party marks

Names and marks of towns, schools, communities, builders, businesses and other organizations belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

AI training, indexing and machine-readable content

Search engines and AI assistants may index pages and display brief excerpts with links back to the source, consistent with robots.txt and llms.txt. Using site content to train, fine-tune or benchmark AI models, or to build commercial datasets, requires prior written permission. This policy does not attempt to restrict uses that the law does not allow the publisher to restrict.
